Our overall experience was ok and now I can cross this place off our bucket list. I had the rack of lamb, it was the smallest rack I had ever seen. The presentation was nice, but overpriced for the serving size. My husband's Beef Wellington was good; yet, it seemed like a lunch sized serving. It left him still hungry. We never received the complimentary relish tray and we had to put in a request for our bread. The ambience is nice, with the fireplaces and views of nature off the back of the restaurant. I'm not sure how this restaurant has been voted most romantic, when there are many tables of 4 to 8 guests in close proximity to tables of 2. While we were waiting for our table, the owner was chatting with several members of his staff. He was critiquing a few of them and his language was inappropriate. I found that unprofessional and not a good first impression.

Atmosphere was quaint. I had higher expectations for the food & service. Server was not very attentive, we waited a while for initial interaction & after he brought our drinks we waited 10 minutes before he took our order... understandable if the restaurant was busy however, it was not. Glaze on the steak was too thick & sweet, twice baked potato was dry & vegetables were bland. I had been looking forward to eating here, sadly I don't think I will return.

I had my son’s Confirmation Celebration Dinner here and selected three menu items for our guests. Chicken, salmon and a pasta. The food was great! Service was excellent and everyone enjoyed the rustic atmosphere!

Questions & Answers

Yes

No sorry

I believe, you should call them to know that.

I remember seeing a sign posted on the front door stating that there is a dress code. Perhaps it isn't enforced, but I recommend business casual at a minimum

In short, possibly. I do not recall seeing a no firearms notice posted. To the best of my understanding by Ohio CCW law; you are able to concealed carry in resterants that serve alcohol, UNLESS you intend to consume alcohol. So don't carry if you plan on having a drink, and when in doubt contact the restaurant and inquire if they permit CCW to carry. Unless your question is aimed more at armed private security, than I would contact the manager and inquire. On an off note you should be even able to request a private room.

Around $10 I believe
